Wow, usually an animal that loses a limb or other appendage doesn't survive. I wonder if he was rehabilitated?
Though there is a squirrel that frequents my backyard, who had his tail torn off by the neighbor's dog. He's absolutely crazy and runs up to my dogs and teases them and zips past them, and he gets around just fine.
